About Voice Studio
A desktop AI audio tool that respects your time, your data, and your wallet.
Voice Studio is a native macOS app built for YouTubers writing voiceovers, podcasters patching pickups, audiobook narrators prototyping chapters, educators building course audio, and indie developers adding character voices to games. Everything runs on your own Mac, so your scripts and voices never leave your machine.
It exists because of a gap. On one side there are toy browser demos that sound robotic and cap you at 30 seconds. On the other side there are enterprise cloud platforms that charge per character and quietly change their terms every few months. In between, there was room for something honest: a real desktop app you install once, pay for once, and actually own.
The app does four things well: turn text into speech, clone a voice from a short audio clip, design a new voice from a description, and process long scripts in one go. Every result is saved in your local library, and favourite voices can be saved as reusable avatars. It runs smoothly on a recent Mac with Apple Silicon, macOS 13 or newer, 16 GB of memory, and 20 GB of free space.
A note on ethics: voice cloning is powerful, and it is your responsibility to use it responsibly. Only clone voices you have explicit consent to clone.
What We Believe
Local First
Your scripts, reference clips, and generated audio stay on your machine. Nothing is streamed to a remote server for inference, and nothing is logged on our side because there is no server to log it to.
Privacy by Default
No accounts, no tracking pixels, no telemetry pings. Your audio stays on-device. The internet is only needed to download the models the first time; after that Voice Studio runs completely offline.

When you are ready, subscribe at $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, or choose Lifetime at $99.99 to pay once and keep the current major version. Every plan is purchased through the Mac App Store and handled by Apple, so there are no license keys and nothing to activate. The app installs locally and the models run locally, with no cloud dependency that expires. Voice Studio is coming soon on the Mac App Store.
