1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of aiaudiogen.com, Voice Studio, and any related software, documentation, or services offered by AI Audio Gen (collectively, the "Services" and the "Software").

By downloading, installing, activating, purchasing, or otherwise using the Software, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to purchase a license or use the Software.

2. Definitions

  • Software: Software means the Voice Studio desktop application, including text-to-speech, voice cloning, and voice design features.
  • License Key: License Key means a unique activation code issued to a purchaser in the format VSTD-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
  • Device: Device means a single physical computer owned or primarily controlled by the licensee where the Software is installed and activated.
  • Content: Content means any audio, text, voice recordings, or other material you create, input, or generate using the Software.
  • Services: Services means the Software, the website, documentation, license activation, and related support.
  • Account: Account means any record we maintain in connection with your purchase or license activation.

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, AI Audio Gen grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license.

The desktop app includes a one-time 3-day trial on first launch. Paid access is sold as either a lifetime license or a monthly subscription. Lifetime access is perpetual for the purchased major version after payment; monthly access renews until cancelled. Monthly cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

  • Each License Key may be activated on up to 2 devices you own or control.
  • License activation is validated against our backend, and the app uses signed local entitlement leases for limited offline use between refreshes.
  • License Keys must not be shared, resold, rented, leased, sublicensed, or transferred.
  • All rights not expressly granted are reserved by AI Audio Gen.

4. Accounts

Where account functionality is offered, you are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code.
  • Share, redistribute, resell, or sublicense your license key or installer to unauthorized people.
  • Use the Software for unlawful, infringing, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass or tamper with license validation or security mechanisms.
  • Repackage generated audio as a competing subscription service.
  • Create or distribute defamatory, harassing, hateful, or unlawful content.
  • Impersonate real people without explicit consent.
  • Use the Software for scams, phishing, fraud, or deceptive robocalls.

6. Voice Cloning Ethics

You may only clone a voice if you have documented consent from the individual whose voice is being cloned.

  • You must not clone voices of public figures, celebrities, politicians, or deceased persons without rights/clearances.
  • You are responsible for complying with laws on likeness rights, deepfakes, biometrics, and data protection.
  • Violations may result in immediate termination of your license without refund.

7. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you generate using the Software.

We do not receive or store your generated content; we provide no rights over it.

8. Intellectual Property

The software, website, documentation, branding, and related materials are owned by AI Audio Gen and protected by intellectual property laws.

Third-party components and open-source libraries are governed by their own licenses.

9. Payments and Refunds

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments. By completing a purchase, you also agree to their terms.

  • Prices are shown in local currency where supported, with U.S. dollars as the default. Prices may change for future purchases; existing subscriptions keep their current price until a plan change or lapse.
  • Taxes and VAT are calculated and collected where required by law.
  • Refunds for digital goods follow Dodo Payments standard refund windows.
  • Trials: the desktop app includes a one-time 3-day first-launch trial. Checkout is the paid path: monthly billing starts when you purchase the subscription, and lifetime billing is charged once when you purchase the lifetime license.
  • Cancellation: you can cancel a monthly subscription at any time via the Dodo customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rated refund is issued for partial months unless required by law.
  • Failed renewals: if a renewal charge fails, Dodo retries for up to 7 days. During this period, Voice Studio continues to function on activated devices. After the retry window, the license becomes inactive until payment is updated.

10. Updates and Support

We may release updates, bug fixes, and new features at our discretion.

Support is provided via email on a best-effort basis; we do not offer guaranteed response times.

11. Privacy and Data

Voice Studio is a local-first application. Text input, voice samples, and generated audio are processed locally.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software and Services are provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the prior 12 months.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify AI Audio Gen and contributors against legal claims arising from your use of the Software.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms.

Upon termination you must stop using the Software and remove installed copies.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of AI Audio Gen jurisdiction.

Before legal action, try direct contact and good-faith resolution.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes are posted on this page.
